INTERACCIÓN 2018.  Co-held events and parallel activities

The International Conference on Human Computer Interaction -Interacción 2018- (CFP) holds several events:

  • The conference will be preceded by the II JOrnada de Trabajo sobre Enseñanza de CHI (CHIJOTE’18), a workshop dedicated to Human-Computer Interaction education in the Spanish-speaking context. It will take place on September 11th. The workshop is promoted by AIPO and organized by CHICO from UCLM. (CFP)
  • The IV EnGendering Technologies Workshop is also included in the conference. EnGendering Technologies (EGT) aims at exploring equal participation in education, design, production and use of technologies, especially in ICT, but also demanding innovative and more inclusive research, innovation and products. (CFP)

The conference also includes two embedded special tracks:

  • A track devoted to Human-Agent Social Interaction:Design principles and Practices. This special track aims to establish a space where the latest trends and technologies for designing interactive agents, and its applications in social scenarios can be presented and discussed. In this way, we can open the path to novel ideas and practices to improve the relationship between technology and humans. (CFP)
  • A track on Advances and Challenges in HCI in Agriculture. The goal of this special session is to attract representatives of industry and academia that can provide insight into the challenges and advances of effectively bringing ICT to agriculture, from the perspective of HCI. This session is organized by members of the H2020 RUC-APS project (www.ruc-aps.eu), whose goal is to enhance and implement knowledge based ICT solutions within high risk and uncertain conditions for agriculture production systems.
